Nicky Shane Guest On Internet Radio Show "Get Off My Lawn"

Back in 1993 I was performing stand-up comedy in Canada with a great Canadian comic named Bryan Cox. For several weeks we banged out one-nighters and had a blast. Bryan, like myself, was serious enough about life to make it funny and I was serious enough about funny to make it my life. Neither of us knew where we were going career wise but that question became our bond. We talked about several screenplays I was writing and of course all the insider trade of being a road comic. We had some great conversations and swore we¹d keep in touch, and then I left Canada.

I didn't know I was heading for some crash and burn relationships along with some very bad decision making. I found out later Bryan was also going through his life's trials so we lost touch.

Over the years I kept running across his business card. When finally I called him in October of 2011 it was like we just talked yesterday. He immediately asked me to be on his internationally famous radio show "Get Off My Lawn." I was stoked! Bryan is brilliant as an interviewer and "Get Off My Lawn" ROCKS! Always funny, gracious and considerate, it's good to connect with him again.
