Shaker Microphones Teams-Up with Nicky Shane At 2009 NAMM Show

Being invited by Shaker Microphones to play at the 2009 NAMM Convention was like eating Hagen Dhas for three days straight. Shaker microphones rock and as soon as I arrived, I cranked up my Marshall with my Shaker Dynamic mic to a full-fledged "Star Spangled Banner" (Hendrix style) into a huge applause then quickly progressed down to quieter doodling as the old school sound police arrived pointing at their hearing aids.

Too much fun!! I got to hang out with the original Shaker family of Joe, Dawn and Gus Harless riffing on great war/road stories, despotic personalities and sharing the love of music. Gus is a hell of a talent and we jammed on some new Krank amplifiers. Building a cool groove I started going so fast I almost went off a corner note and smashed my lip (sorry, harp lingo).

Needless to say, I had a blast - thanks Joe, Dawn and Guss.
